This is a splendid tour which enables you to see Mount Teide  in all its majesty

Taking a different route to many of the main coach tours, you travel gently up to the pretty village of Vilaflor, the highest village in Tenerife. Continuing up the mountain you reach the National Park of Las Canadas which is an extraordinary sight and could not be more different to the beaches of the coast. The park is effectively one huge crater with an area of approximately 130 square kilometres, in the middle of which rises Mount Teide to a height of 3.717 meters, the highest peak in Spain. We stop for a break at the highest restaurant in Spain and if there is time (queues and wind permitting) you can take the cable car up to just below the peak. Please note it is not very suitable for wheelchair users at the top, but the journey and views from the cable car on the way up and down are breathtaking on a clear day. From here we travel on across the crater and go down through to Los Gigantes with its famous cliffs and lovely harbour.  From here we return to your resort via Playa de la Arena along the coast road.

Trip 2 

Loro Parque, Puerto de la Cruz Shopping

This trip goes straight to Loro Parque and Puerto de la Cruz going on the motorway both there and back, giving you more than 4 hours free time to spend at your leisure either in the Loro Parque or in Puerto de la Cruz shopping.  The price of the excursion does not include the price of the entry ticket to Loro Parque which is approx 23 euros per person.

Puerto de la Cruz is a fascinating town on the North side of the island which has a very different climate to the South. Everywhere is much more green lush and verdant.

Besides having some splendid and different shops, there are the Botanical Gardens, the Lagos Martianez and the Lido and the San Telmo Chapel. You can while away your time in the El Charco square watching the hustle and bustle whilst having a spot of lunch.

The world famous Loro Park is situated just outside the main town and offers a fantastic day out for the whole family. You have the opportunity to see the spectacular dolphin show, the amusing sea lion show, and the colourful Parrot show from the largest collection in the world. The shark Tunnel and aquarium, gorillas and monkeys, flora and fauna make up this wonderful park.

TRIP 3

Candelaria & Santa Cruz (shopping optional) and the North East Mountains

This trip can be taken by those who want to go shopping in the Capital Santa Cruz or for those who want to see the North East of the island. First stop is Candelaria, where there is the statue of the Black Madonna, the Bronze `statues of the Guanche Kings and a large Basilica. No time to stop for long as we travel on to Santa Cruz and leave those who wish to do their shopping, or just wish to spend a few hours in the capital city.  We then move on to see Las Teresitas beach, a large sweep of white sand, reputably one of only a few in Tenerife. We then travel up into the spectacular Anaga Mountains and onto the picturesque village of Taganana. From here we drop down into La Laguna, the original capital of Tenerife with its many ancient and interesting buildings. From La Laguna we pass back to Santa Cruz to collect the shoppers and then return home.

TRIP 4

This is a fascinating tour capturing the essence of Tenerife by including several of its most famous places.

Vilaflor/ Teide/ Orotava/ Puerto de la Cruz/ Icod/Guarachico/ Masca/ Los Gigantes

We travel up to the picturesque village of Vilaflor and onto the spectacular Mount Teide. From here we go down the other side of the Volcano through the beautiful and lush Orotava valley to the North of the island and visit first the town of Oratava with its unique House of Balconies, before travelling down to Puerto de la Cruz for a brief visit. Our next place of interest is Icod de Los Vinos with its famous Dragon Tree which is thousands of years old. From Icod we move down to the coast town of Guarachico which was partially destroyed in the last volcanic eruption of 1706.
